Does chin strap stop snoring?

Question by Ibekwe John: Does chin strap stop snoring?
I do snore and recently I am seeing adverts suggesting that chin straps can stop snoring. Is so, how does it work?

    I'm not sure. But I have a CPAP machine and I tried a mask that covers only the nose, so they gave me a chin strap to keep my mouth closed so that the air from the CPAP machine wouldn't escape. CPAPs stop snoring. Usually someone that snores, has obstructive sleep apnea. So, suggest that to your doctor and get a sleep study done.

    This is very dependent why you snoring. I think there is no choice and you'll have to check it out.
    The product helps some people and some not...
