Everyone tells me that I snore really, really bad. And sometimes I stop breathing but not all the time.
How can I fix it? I'm a 15 year old girl. I'm 115 pounds and 5'4. I don't smoke or drink alcohol. Is there anything that I can do to stop snoring? No surgeries please. x.x

First, find out if it is affecting your sleep. Google these two tests: 1. Berline Questionnaire, 2. Epworth Sleepiness Scale. Also start a journal noting the following: 1. you awaken to headaches, 2. you wake up gasping or chocking or coughing; 3. number of times you went to the bathroom; 4. remember any dreams. Failing one or both of the tests, you can take the results along with your journal to your parents/doctor for further assessment for the snoring.
ReplyDeleteIf you do not have a sleep disorder (like apnea), you can look into the slimline neck trimmer to strengthen your neck muscles. This may reduce your snoring. Ask your parents about going to an ENT to look at your tonsils and allergies.
Well. My husband and other members in my family snoree every night. It is very boring. I saw this article just now. It says good. I am planning to try it. Here give you the link.

Treatment to stop snoring can depend on what's causing the snoring and where it's coming from. See the link below for tests to determine what kind of snoring you suffer from and what may help you cure it.
